Webcam Bugs
Viewers of the Terrace webcams have likely noticed a very dirty view of Terrace from the bench recently, despite having cleaned the camera dome only a few weeks ago. The cause was a bunch of bugs who seemed to like the camera – and I suspected they were making the enclosure their home.
Now that it’s cooler out (+1 C this morning) I thought it would be a good time to pull the camera down and have a good look. Guess what I found inside?
This is what I cleaned out of the camera this morning – so hopefully we should be good for at least the winter!!! I did seal up most of the entry points (but noted one that I missed just when I put the camera back up). I’ll tackle that one on the next cleaning…
Selling (Sold!) the Aldorado…
Update – August 3: I’ve sold the Aldorado and it will be moving to the Yukon shortly! It’ll be a northern home for a northern person – a perfect match…
